From 5th until 11th of February 2024 join us for a nation-wide celebration of amazing apprentices, teaching staff and employers, as NAW2024 brings together everyone passionate about apprenticeships. As a proud champion of apprenticeships, Gloucestershire College is showcasing motivating success stories, useful articles and top-tips to educate and inspire local learners and employers about apprenticeships.

The theme for NAW2024 is "Skills For Life" as apprenticeships present unique opportunities to develop practical knowledge required for a rewarding career while building future ready skills.

Using apprenticeship levy to reinvest back into your workforce

The apprenticeship levy was initiated by the UK government for all employers paying a wage bill of more than £3 million per year. The levy tax of 0.5% of your payroll is automatically collected by HMRC at the end of each month through your PAYE system.

The great news is that you can reinvest this levy back into your workforce in the form of apprenticeship training.
