Keep learning, wherever you are

NEW online courses at Gloucestershire College
We understand that the world of education and work continues to change, which is why we’ve transformed some of our most versatile courses to ensure that jobseekers, professionals and businesses can keep learning, wherever they are.
Ideal for those with busy work and home lives, our new online courses are available online-only via self-study, remotely via virtual classes, or blended with some online and some on campus attendance required.
As is standard at GC, all courses include expert tuition, engaging digital resources and personalised support from start to finish, with a valuable qualification gained upon completion.
Business and finance courses include AAT accountancy, the ILM-accredited Diploma in Leadership and Management, HNC Business (full-time or part-time) and free certificates in business administration, customer service, lean organisation management techniques, IT and equality and diversity.
Health and social care courses are ideal for those already working in, or wanting to work in, the industry and include preparing to work in adult social care, end of life care, understanding mental health and dementia care.
Our online apprenticeships have been developed for those wanting to change careers, and businesses looking to upskill existing staff, and include the Digital Marketer Apprenticeship and Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship.
While those who missed the opportunity to go to university the first time round, and want to go on to study history, English, creative writing, journalism, psychology or sociology, can undertake our blended Access to HE (Humanities) course, which is studied online, with on-campus assessment.
Andy Bates, Chief Financial Officer, said: “There’s never been a more important time to support our county people and businesses. By developing online training solutions across different levels and industries, we aim to help Gloucestershire to get back on its feet by upskilling our jobseekers and employees, to return our economy to its former thriving state.
“Our lecturers are experienced in their fields and online teaching, making online learning with Gloucestershire College engaging, seamless and a step towards success.”
