Gloucestershire College (GC) has announced an exciting venture with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) to offer new cyber degrees in Cheltenham from September 2020. Plans unveiled for new electrical engineering provision at Gloucestershire College in Cheltenham

Gloucestershire College has announced plans to open a brand new electrical engineering facility at its Cheltenham campus from September this year. The news follows their successful bid to become an Institute of Technology in partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), which will provide investment of up to £3 million into Advanced Engineering and Cyber facilities at the College.

Dene Magna sixth form confirmed at Gloucestershire College

From September this year students will be able to study A-levels in the heart of the Forest of Dean thanks to a new partnership between Dene Magna and Gloucestershire College.

The school will offer a broad range of A-levels taught by Dene Magna staff at Gloucestershire College’s brand new Cinderford campus, which opened last September. The move greatly benefits local students by further extending the quality provision of education opportunities in first class facilities.

Meet the GC Experts: Digital Marketing Apprenticeships

Meet Nick Workman, Trainer Assessor for marketing apprenticeships at GC since March 2019. Nick supports apprentices and businesses with three marketing apprenticeships, which are all delivered completely in the workplace. Marketing Level 2 and Level 3 are both generalist qualifications providing a good foundation in marketing, whereas the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is a standard and provides a more in-depth, specialist digital route into marketing.

GC branches out to Bristol

We're delighted to announce the opening of a new Bristol Training venue, where it will deliver a range of courses designed to help people to get back into work. Out of the iconic Castlemead Bristol building, which boasts excellent accessibility and 360-degree views across Bristol, we will offer courses covering IT, skills for job seekers, care, office administration and hospitality and retail, starting from October.
