What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprentices work alongside other staff members and earn a wage whilst gaining job-specific skills. Depending on the qualification, apprenticeships are delivered through a mix of on-the-job training, self-study, classroom learning or dedicated masterclasses. They allow apprentices to build the skills and knowledge needed in their chosen career that will also lead to nationally recognised qualifications.
Why choose Gloucestershire College as your apprenticeship provider?
As an award-winning apprenticeship provider, at Gloucestershire College many of our training programmes can be delivered as an apprenticeship, meaning you can cover the costs of staff development using your levy or Government funding (non levy-payers pay just 5% of apprenticeship training costs). Explore our wide range of apprenticeships available from Level 1 to 6, or simply get in touch with our Employer Training & Apprenticeships team to discuss your needs via: employer.training@gloscol.ac.uk. We can offer bespoke advice and solutions to make apprenticeships work for your business.
