I’m a practical learner so an apprenticeship was the right choice for me. It means I can apply skills I am learning right away and understand how they work on a day-to-day basis in the role. 

I can email my lecturer at any time if I need help or guidance and the one day a week I come into college is very focused and tailored around what I’m doing in my job at the time.

My dream career is to be a Chartered Accountant and an AAT qualification provides a good stepping stone for this, I would definitely struggle to get the job without it. I’ve grown in confidence and that is emulated in the work I do at Haygrove.
