Cheryl Stennett

We have worked with Gloucestershire College for over 10 years to provide work experience and opportunities. They’ve helped us with running and supporting events: cross country, swimming galas and athletics.

The students have been a quality workforce of motivated and focused students and are able offer more opportunities for our schools to take part in a wider range of competitions and events. I have also been involved with mock interviews at the college and spoken on a number of occasions to groups of sports students about the industry. The students gain an insight into the real world of sport employment and the potential opportunities that are currently available within this industry.

For me it’s an opportunity to give something back to the college for all the support they have given to me over the past decade – and I very much enjoy it.
