Sport and Uniformed Public Services

Sports courses can lead to a lot of exciting opportunities! So can our Public Service courses, which prepare you for a life of responsibility!

We have a high pass rate for students who take these practical courses and we’re the only college in the county to offer students the chance to get real-life experience of working in the army. Many previous students have gone on to careers in the RAF, police, Royal Navy and fire service. Our sporting facilities are great too!

Public service students could join the police force, the army, the RAF, the Royal Navy, be an ambulance technician, a fire fighter, or get a job in Prosecution Services or Forensic Science.

Sports students could be an events manager, sports development trainer, coach, athlete, leisure assistant, volunteer coordinator, sports physiotherapist, parks officer or coach educators.
