If you are already employed in the motor industry, this is your chance to upskill.
If you are 19 or over, work in the motor trade and would like to expand your skillset, this course is for you.
Just one day per week on Fridays.
Learn the knowledge and skills required to work safely on Electric and Hybrid Electric (EV/HEV) vehicles.
What will I learn?
You will gain the knowledge and skills required to work safely on electric and hybrid vehicles, whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities. This may include vehicles that may have had damage to their high energy/electrical system.
On successful completion, you will achieve a IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement Qualification.
Applicants must already hold an appropriate qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance.
How will I learn?
Duration: One day per week for eight weeks (excluding half term)
Learning Hours: 60
Independent Learning Hours: 10
