Recruitment Resourcer Level 2

The role of a recruitment resourcer is to identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process according to a business brief and provide resourcing support to the recruitment function. They may also be required to identify new business opportunities.

This career path provides an excellent opportunity for professional and personal development within the recruitment sector with transferable skills being respected throughout industry as a whole.

 

What will you learn? 

  • Recruitment sales techniques and processes and how to support them.
  • The recruitment industry and the principles of the recruitment models
  • How to write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures.
  • How to qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against deferred job vacancies.
  • How to assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates and internal teams.
  • How to contribute to the development of a recruitment resourcing plan.
  • How to accurately record candidate and client information on the recruitment database
  • How to provide support to ensure a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times

Recruitment Consultant Level 3

This apprenticeship is suited for new apprentices or existing employees wishing to advance their skills.

The recruitment consultant’s role is to identify and secure job opportunities within client organisations. They attract candidates and successfully place them in those jobs in return for a fee. A recruitment consultant may focus on the supply of flexible workers, permanent placements or a combination of both.

 

What will you learn?

  • How to establish, negotiate and agree terms and conditions of business with clients
  • How to ensure candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service
  • How to identify, progress and convert sales leads into new clients, candidates and placements as required.
  • How to identify and obtain new business opportunities.
  • How to utilise company management systems and follow payroll billing procedures including accurate databased management complying with relevant legislation.
  • How to conduct professional discussions with clients and candidates using all mediums as appropriate.
  • How to shortlist and present suitability qualified applicants against defined job vacancies.

Duration and delivery

Training is delivered in the workplace with a mixture of face to face and remote sessions. There will also be some group sessions throughout the programme delivered in college. Both apprenticeships are 18 months, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment.
