AAT Access Award in Business Skills (Level 1)

  • Gloucester Campus
  • Evening classes
  • 3 hours per week
  • Progression on to Level 2
  • This qualification will help you develop essential business and finance skills you can apply directly to the workplace, including sales and purchases and using numbers in business.

AAT Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) 

  • Online, remote and on campus options
  • Cheltenham and Gloucester campus 
  • Day and evening classes available 
  • 4 hours per week, plus additional study at home
  • Progression pathway on to level 3 

This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles.

AAT Diploma in Accounting (Level 3)

  • Part-time 
  • Progression pathway on to a foundation degree

You will learn and master financial processes, including accounting principles and concepts, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts, VAT issues in business, management accounting costing techniques and ethical practices for accountants. You will also gain software skills through spreadsheet training for accounting.

AAT Diploma in Professional Accounting (Level 4)

  • Cheltenham and Gloucester campus 
  • Day and evening classes available 
  • one-to-one support 
  • Funding available depending on your circumstance 

This course is suitable for students who have completed the AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

In this qualification you will cover higher accounting tasks including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance, as well as optional specialist units including business tax, personal tax, external auditing, credit management, and cash and treasury management.
