Gloucester Campus

Our buzzing Gloucester campus is set in a prime location in the heart of the City, beside the historic Gloucester Docks which sees regular food festivals throughout the year and the Tall Ships Festival.

The College is across the water from the shops, cinema and restaurants of Gloucester Quays, a popular tourist destination – many offering GC student discounts.

The Gloucester campus is set in the grounds of Llanthony Secunda Priory, which dates from 1135. In fact the Quays area provides an interesting mix of state-of-the-art and historic – with the majority of the old warehouses around the water now renovated as desirable housing, offices and leisure.

The campus hosts one of our Enterprise Labs where you can get support to think through or access funding for our business ideas, or connect with a crowd of like-minded students who hope to be their own boss one day, at our monthly Enterprise Society gatherings.

You’ll find a range of classes, workshops and studios across four blocks around two dramatic open spaces. It’s especially well-known for its outstanding vocational facilities, business and media studies, early years, motor vehicle maintenance and sport. Our Graduations Hair and Beauty salon is well-known throughout the city and always busy, and we’re proud of our creative and technology courses.

Tinies Nursery

Tinies Gloucester provides care for a large number of GC staff and students' children, but also welcomes children attending privately.

As an Ofsted-registered provider of care for 0 to five year olds, Tinies offers full- and part-time places, as well as government funded places for two, three and four-year-old children. It also cares for children up to the age of eight during the holidays.

Tinies has four large, well-equipped playrooms; a safe and secure garden; plus access to a large grassy area at Gloucestershire College, which gives children the opportunity to explore the great outdoors.

Open 51 weeks a year, from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 5.30pm on Fridays, the nursery is only closed on bank holidays and during Christmas week.

All staff are qualified to a minimum Level 3 in Childcare and dedicated to helping all children develop to their full potential, by providing stimulating activities that encourage them on their journey.
